PTA notes
- Looking for four more people to fulfill positions for next school year.
- Please submit recommendations
- Secretary and treasurer is filled
Land Trust/TSSP:
Behavior:
- Climate Goal
- Morning circle, greeting students
- $3000 for student incentives
- Behaviors spike during the month of November
- The year started low with behaviors and then an uptick.
- These are disrespectful and non compliant behaviors
Academics:
- Teachers are doing mid-level benchmark testing:

- CAP, COMP and MAZE

- WIDA: scores are low on the RISE part of the test.

- TSI: Multi-language kids are not making enough growth

- More focus on math and science: This will help us get out of TSI

School Items:
- Sing-a-long is happening next Friday
- Santa is coming to visit kindergarten and first grade. Sending home pics.
- Full day kindergarten is going to still be happening next year: free to families
Concerns:
- Found a full-time STEM teacher
- Still looking for another para for DK
- Community Safety concern: cars being parked in north neighborhood is bothersome to resident(s)
Action Steps:
- Finding more support with student needs in all grades with learning disabilities.
