This pays for: ALS Coordinator. Substitutes for All-Day BLT Meetings. Additional hours up to 28 for Instructional Aides including ESP-4 Intervention Mentor for student support. If additional funds  go towards diverse books for the library, technology, supplies and costs towards phonics  lesson library.

Also help support new students.

Behavior:

  • Referrals: Are looking good, there are not any major concerns.
    • Only 1-2 students are meeting with the principal.
    • Only 7 referrals for the month of January, down from 13 in Dec.

Academics:

  • Acadience:
    • Our school wide goal is: 80% of students will have 3-5 stars from fall to spring in each grade. Looking at midyear. 70% of students have reached that goal.
    • Core5: everyone was reset. There was a lot of growth. Fall: only 130 were on grade level. Winter: 239 are at or above grade level.
      • This shows that students are retaining the information.

School Items:

  • Classes: We were selected by the district to have a specialized accommodate core classroom starting next year.
    • We will also have a sensory room down in the 3rd grade hallway.
  • Additional Aide:
    • Approval to hire an extra part time aide, no more than 20 hrs. Pulling funds from land trust. This will help teachers and playground aides for Friday.
  • Assemblies: The first assembly for students completing Core5 units will start this month.
  • Fulltime: Coach is going to be working full time next year. Will also be a behavioral interventionist.

Concerns: Figuring out training for teachers for phonics as well as aides
