SCC Meeting Notes November 1, 2023

PTA Notes:
- Meeting discussed to do dry, canned food for those families in need in the month of November. Hoping for protein based.
- Sending out information for families to help support those needs in our community.
Land Trust/TSSP:
- First reading of Landtrust and TSSP

- By May 2025, 80% of all students in Kindergarten – 5th grades will show typical or above typical growth (3 to 5 stars) from fall to spring as measured by Acadience Reading K – 6 Pathways to Progress reports.
Action Plan:
- Break down of how to achieve goals is In the data dashboard class time.
Behavior:
- Training for restorative practices

- Aides available to work with kids and conflict/resolution
- Sensory room: available to help de escalation.
- With general ed: more behavior/emotional needs
- Serious / Minor:
Academics:
- Acadience: Looking at data and teachers are working on progress monitoring to help close gaps and support learners.
- CORE5:

- 23-24: school goal is to have 12 units of Core5 a week. Focused now during extra time during classtime, or at home. This is no longer a focus during SBI time

- Safety Concerns: at the crosswalk after school parents are not

- ELA growth: up to 64%
- Science growth: from 51% to 70%
