Crescent Elementary is proud to announce Mrs. Marci Reeves as our Teacher of the Year!
Marci Reeves is an outstanding educator. Watching her teach a Saxon lesson, or any lesson for that matter, is incredible! She creates a very positive classroom and learning environment for all of her students. Marci is consistent in her ability to provide high quality instruction, deal with the demands of a first grade classroom, and plan and collaborate with her team, all while staying humble. Marci is fantastic at keeping an eye on students she may think need additional support and adjusts her instruction and pacing as needed. She is observant, warm, and loving towards all of her students.
Marci is an absolute team player. She is kind and welcoming in the hallways and is a fantastic asset to not only her first grade team, but to the entire school! Marci goes out of her way to quietly do things for others and does not need or want to be noticed, but does things out of the kindness of her heart. Marci gladly shares her knowledge and resources with others.
Marci has helped so many students gain a strong foundation for reading. Her team loves her, her parents and community love her, and most importantly, her students love her and KNOW she loves them.
